HerHacks 2026 | Empowering Women to Build in Tech

Bringing 100+ girls together across the GTA to build real projects in 12 hours, compete, and see themselves as future innovators!!

HerHacks is a free, 12-hour, all-girls hackathon where high school girls and gender-diverse students across the GTA come together to create, collaborate, and explore technology. With 100+ high school and post-secondary students, HerHacks is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced coders, who wants to turn an idea into something real! Throughout the day, participants will form teams, brainstorm solutions, and build projects inspired by real-world challenges. Workshops, hands-on activities, and mentors will help participants develop their ideas while gaining practical technical and teamwork skills. HerHacks will also feature a panel of women in tech sharing their journeys, challenges, and advice for pursuing opportunities in the industry. At the end, teams will present their projects to judges, celebrate their achievements, and connect with a community of ambitious, creative students. HerHacks is more than a hackathon. It is a space to build confidence, discover possibilities, and see yourself in tech!
