For educators.

The fund helps students start clubs, hackathons, events and shared activities for their school community. You can introduce it to students or support a student’s plan. If a project wins, its named educator confirms it by replying to our email.

Introducing the fund to students

Share the fund with students who want to bring people together at school. Help them think through their idea, budget, space and permissions. They can apply before their project exists.

Students include an educator’s school email when applying. We only email that educator if their project wins the community vote.

Asked to confirm a winning project

If you received our email, reply in your own words to damian@tks.world. Its subject includes the student’s reference code. There is nothing to click.

What your reply confirms

  • The project is real, and you have discussed it with the student.
  • The student is enrolled at your school.
  • You are aware the school is named on the project's public page, where it already appears.
  • You are willing to help receive or administer the funds.
  • This project won, and you agree to receive or route the funds.

The deadline

Replies are due by Nov 5. If a slot passes to another project, that educator gets three business days from the day we email them. After the deadline the slot goes to the next project.

Reply from the same address

Your reply has to come from the address the student entered. A reply from a different address does not record, and we will contact the student to correct it.

What this is, and what it is not

A vouch is your own attestation. It is not an endorsement by your school as an institution, and it commits the school to nothing.

Your reply is also your agreement for the funds to be routed to you or to the school. There is no second form and no second email to sign.

What the email looks like

Subject: Confirm a funded project for Your student — HAF-7K3Q2M

Your student at your school applied to the High Agency Fund for $1,000 to run their project. The community voted, and this project is one of the winners. They named you as the educator who can confirm it.

Reply to this email in your own words by Nov 5. There is nothing to click. Your reply is the confirmation, and without one the funding goes to the next project on the list.

In your own words, please confirm: the project is real and you have discussed it with the student; the student is enrolled at your school; you are aware the school is named on the project's public page, where it already appears; you are willing to help receive or administer the funds; and this project won and you agree to receive or route the funds.

If anything about the email looks wrong, or you were named without being asked, write to damian@tks.world.
